Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MailForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MailForge provides SMTP email relay infrastructure, including APIs for sending transactional and batch emails, deliverability analytics, domain management, and webhook notifications.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
5. Billing and Payments
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are in USD. You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion within 14 days of purchase.
6. Service Level
We target 99.9% API uptime for paid plans. The Free plan has no uptime guarantee. We are not liable for email deliverability, which depends on your domain reputation and recipient servers.
7. Data Retention
Email metadata is retained for 90 days. Email content is not stored after delivery. Analytics data is retained for 12 months. You may export or delete your data at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
MailForge is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
